I'm not a career politician. I'm a retired Marine Corps veteran who's spent my life serving others and getting things done. After serving our country, I've seen firsthand what real leadership looks like—and what Texas needs.
I've been broke more often than I've been paid. I know what it's like to struggle, to work multiple jobs, to worry about making ends meet. That's not the experience of most politicians, but it's the reality for millions of Texans.
Texas deserves a governor who understands that government should work for working people, not wealthy donors and special interests.
